Oversized Freight FAQ

Providing Navifreight with the proper measurements of your freight helps us determine what carrier and service will best meet your needs. We use the measurements to classify and price your freight.  Here is what we need:

  • Weight: In pounds
  • Length: The longest side of your freight to the nearest inch.
  • Width: The width of your freight at the widest part to the nearest inch.
  • Height: The tallest part of your freight from the ground to the top to the nearest inch.
  • Cubic size: Length x Width x Height

It is important that we have the most accurate weight for your freight, not just an estimate. If an inaccurate weight is used and the carrier re-weighs your freight, you may be re-billed for the difference, and the shipment cost will go up.

There must be a person who is authorized to sign over the shipment at the time of pickup.  

It is important that all shipments are ready for pickup when carriers arrive. A delay in pickup that causes the carrier to wait may result in additional fees.
